Dr Illya Ness says: I’ve no problem with organ donation, but the proposed UK govt opt out scheme is wrong. In a free society your duties are to pay fair taxes, obey a common law, judge your peers if called & defend your country. Freedom depends on the State imposing nothing else, & has no other say in your life at all!

Polly Ticks says: Boris Johnson. Ah, Boris – bank robbers & letterboxes. Not language I would use, but … Come on, people. Did he say you should attack burka wearers? Of course not. It’s an opinion, not incitement to violence. If you’re upset, that’s an outcome of freedom, & your outrage is degrading it.

Philip Osophy says: Fake News? All news is fake or real dependent upon the consensus you follow. This is ‘cos an event has 2 parts: the event & its interpretation. This is so ‘cos there’s only one truth. There isn’t one. If we realized this, moderation would break out, & we’d live happily ever after.

COMMENT FROM THE UK

Polly Ticks says: Brexit no deal. Food shortages coming? Rubbish! Yes, the UK produces only 60% of its food, but how much does it produce for the EU? Keep it in the UK. Add the obvious panic buying in preparation of a no deal and our farms will thrive. The EU has nothing to fear but the EU itself.

Dr Illya Ness says: Permanent Vegetative State – if family and doctors agree, no need to go to court to withdraw nourishment in UK. No, no, no! If the state kills there must be legal process! Have these idiots never read philosophy? They are looking over the hill and missing the slippery slope.

Guru Tony says: 1 in 4 UK kids have language problems holding them back. Now seen as a problem, yet it was always so. Society used to provide for them as they grew up, with non-skilled local jobs & entertainment. It’s all gone now, taking away their identity & causing most social problems today.
