Hi Anthony! I m issed you! I read about your warfare page. Partly I agree with you. You sais: you try to force your values on others, and if those values are alien to them they won’t work, no matter how repulsive we think theirs are.
But lateron you said something about drones and other modern weapons as if you are more or less supporting the use of them. And here you have lost me, as I am against any act of war, unless it is to defend oneself. In the past our nations have invaded many countries for some reason, I still don’t know. I think of Afganistan, Vietnam, Iraq, countries that didn’t attack us.
Roger wrote a very good post about the ideas of MLK. What would he have said about the millions of dollars spent on wars outside our countries.
You have written great posts and you know what you talk about. Thank you for that.

Hi Reader Wil, thanks for that. I suppose the main point of the essay is to show that, with the correct tech and strategy, we can defend successfully by abandoning our ability to invade. The only way to beat this defence is to opt for the same strategy, thus taking away an opponent’s ability to invade. Basically, it’s an attempt to make war redundant.
